The American Society of Civil Engineers San Francisco Section awarded the 2019 Bikeways and Trails Project of the Year to the City of Santa Cruz Public Works Department and MME for the San Lorenzo River Parkway Trestle Trail. The Trestle Trail provides a safe off-street route for pedestrians and bicyclists and connects downtown Santa Cruz with other nearby areas.
