As an alumnus of Cabrillo College, Garret was happy to lend his time and share the story of his career path to college students who are considering an engineering degree. He explained the type of work he does as a licensed Civil Engineer and used the San Lorenzo River Parkway Trestle Trail project as an example of the fulfilling and exciting work one can do as an engineer. The students wrote an inspiring thank you letter to Garrett.
